Overnight accommodation: Reykjavík area

After breakfast we arrange a transfer from your centrally located hotel to the starting point of your adventure driving experiencelocated in the outskirts of Reykjavík. After a quick briefing, you will know the basics of the car and will be able to tackle the diverse conditions you will face over the next two days. We depart from Reykjavík, heading out of the city to explore the Borgarfjörður area. Lunch at Húsafell before we continue to explore Langjökull glacier including the magnificent man-made ice tunnel*. The glacier is a great area to test our trucks and your skills of driving on ice! Evening arrival at our hotel where we enjoy dinner.

Overnight accommodation: Húsafell area

After breakfast, we enjoy a snowmobiling tour on Langjökull glacier before we depart on the modified vehicle towards he historic Thingvellir National Park, home of ancient Icelandic Viking parliament that is registered in UNESCO world heritage site. An indescribable nature with the biggest lake in Iceland. Next, we will visit interesting sights of the Golden circle; Gullfoss waterfall and Geysir geothermal area where Strokkur hot spring spouts water many meters up in the air.

Overnight accommodation: Golden Circle area

We drive through Hrauneyjar and all the way down to Þjórsárdalur valley. We make some photo stops on the way, first at Háifoss the second highest waterfall of the island that drops here from a height of 122 m. Then we drive to the gorgeous canyon called Gjáin and the Hjálparfoss waterfall. From there we will be travelling to the most special area our backyard has to offer, over a wide variety of tracks, through breath-taking mountain ranges. We drive to Landmannalaugar, a highland paradise where the extraordinary colours of the area leave nobody untouched. On the journey, we drive on mountain- and gravel roads through beautiful landscapes and colourful mountains and cross some rivers. We end the day at the comfy mountain hut at the borders of the warm river. The extraordinary colours that surround the hut in Landmannalaugar will leave nobody untouched. After relaxing and enjoying a bath in the natural hot river we head to our overnight accommodation.

Overnight: South Iceland

After breakfast we make our way back to the main road and by lunch we should have arrived back to civilization. We drive along the South coast passing small Icelandic farms exploring the highlights of the area, such as Vík village, Reynisfjara black sand beach, Dyrhólaey peninsula, Skógafoss waterfall and Seljalandsfoss waterfall. Arrival back in Reykjavik in the evening.
